Bagged or Bagless?

The ultimate question when it comes to choosing your next vacuum cleaner.

Bubba Says…

It really depends on a number of considerations:

  1. Personal preference…
Some of us just like the (fill in the blank).
  2. Do you mind emptying the dirt cup?
    Hands could get dirty…
Some of the dirt might return to the area you were trying to vacuum it from…
And something to consider many do not. What to do with those filters…
Many are not even aware that a bagless vacuum has filters and they need to be washed, cleaned and replaced.
Bagless units are more prone to clogging if not maintained properly.
  3. Do you mind buying bags?
Today’s bags filter much better than when mom was vacuuming but they cost more also…
Bags are cleaner and easier to dispose of…
Many bags hold much more capacity than many bagless dirt cups
Bagged units generally are less susceptible to clogging.
  4. Do you have pets like me?
    Pets can cause additional issues…
Many of us pets tend to shed a lot…
And some of us cause your vacuum to smell “funny.”
Smells in a “bagless” vacuum means it’s time to replace the filter(s).
Smells in a “bagged” vacuum means it’s time to replace the bag.
    Which one is cheaper?

Luckily there are many choices today and I know the perfect place to go when it’s time to make your decision.
The place I’m talking about has BOTH “Bagged” and “Bagless” vacuum to try out and discuss.

Can you guess where? 🙂
